    NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

WARNING AGAINST GOVERNMENT FIXERS & FLY-BY-NIGHT BOOKKEEPERS

CPCPA Accounting and Bookkeeping Services strongly warns all taxpayers against dealing with unauthorized individuals, fixers, or fly-by-night bookkeepers who offer shortcuts in business registration, tax filing, or bookkeeping. These individuals often request sensitive information, including your personal information, TIN, government portal credentials, or official business documents, which may lead to penalties, legal issues, data misuse, or sabotage.

To protect yourself and your business, please observe the following:

    • Do not share your government portal credentials (eFPS/eBIR/SSS/Philhealth/Pag-ibig password, personal or business email, TIN, birthdate, and contact numbers) and other confidential information with unauthorized persons or illegitimate practitioners.
    • Change your passwords regularly to secure your online accounts.
    • Transact only through government offices, or their authorized agents, and licensed professionals such as BIR-accredited Certified Public Accountants or their accounting and bookkeeping firms.
    • Avoid letting others create your taxpayer profile or accounts, which may result in errors that cause penalties, invalid tax filing, or open cases.
    • Pay taxes only through government-accredited payment facilities (such as authorized agent banks, GCash, Paymaya, ePay or other nominated payment service provider).
    • Verify the legitimacy of your bookkeeper or accounting service provider by ensuring they are government-accredited, licensed professionals, and duly registered with the BIR and the local government unit where they operate.

Remember: Protecting your personal data and staying compliant with government regulations is protecting the future of your business and your family. Don’t fall victim to scams. CPCPA is here to guide you properly, lawfully, and securely.
